Acupuncture for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

We offer the most effective treatments for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition characterized by compression of the median nerve in the wrist, leading to pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and fingers. Here are some ways in which acupuncture may be beneficial for carpal tunnel syndrome:

  1. Pain relief: Acupuncture has been shown to stimulate the release of endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers. By targeting specific acupuncture points along the affected area, acupuncture can help reduce pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome.
  2. Anti-inflammatory effects: Acupuncture has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation plays a role in carpal tunnel syndrome, as it can contribute to nerve compression and swelling. By reducing inflammation, acupuncture may help alleviate the symptoms of CTS.
  3. Improved blood circulation: Acupuncture can enhance blood circulation in the affected area. This increased blood flow may help deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the damaged tissues, promoting healing and reducing pain.
  4. Nerve modulation: Acupuncture has been suggested to influence nerve function and signaling. By stimulating specific acupuncture points, it is believed that acupuncture can help modulate the nervous system, including the median nerve affected in carpal tunnel syndrome. This modulation may help reduce nerve irritation and improve nerve conduction.
  5. Relaxation and stress reduction: Carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms can be exacerbated by stress and tension. Acupuncture is known for its ability to induce relaxation and reduce stress. By promoting a state of relaxation, acupuncture may help alleviate muscle tension and decrease the overall stress load on the affected area.

Success Story

My CARPAL TUNNEL and TENDONITIS symptoms are GONE!
For months, I have been going to specialist after specialist for multiple reasons. I am a glass blower, and having carpal tunnel and tendonitis doesn’t make my job easier, nor does my job help the matter. I have done physical therapy, steroid shots, and was close to surgery.
